You Don’t Know
I am something you don’t know when you unlock the palm of your heart before you leave yourself to return to the questions you never asked.
I page down memory lane to undo and finally pause all the honour that raised the dignity of Shakespeare only to leave him imprinted in the history books of two thousand and five to help me shift and unravel the makings of my own ancestral grounds.
With my word I awaken the warning signs of the past that dragged my brother’s skin down to his skeleton when he begs for nevirapine to be sold at a cheaper price to restore his veins in-case his blood flows again.
I am something you don’t know when I say this
I am something you don’t know before God when they say He is great..
You are something you don’t know before he bakes you.
When I brush aside the engine of the hands that write to unscramble your mis-understandings to create the bubble to protect you & keep you safe before life’s interpretation; you are something I don’t know too.
I go down before myself now and un-numb my senses freely as you reveal that;
I am something you don’t know.
